Cakewalk is a game that shares some similarities with the well-known Atari 2600 game, Tapper. While the games have distinct differences, they can be considered distant cousins due to a few shared features. In Cakewalk, you take on the role of a baker tasked with catching cakes as they reach the end of one of six conveyor belts. The cakes move down the belts at varying speeds and intervals, making it challenging to predict where the next cake will appear. To assist with this, the baker can stop any conveyor belt (one at a time) for four seconds by pressing the fire button. When a belt is stopped, the cake will not advance down the belt until the freeze duration ends. If too many cakes fall off the belts, the game is over.
