Developer: Answer Software

Answer Software was a small company from Cupertino, California, that made only three Atari 2600 cartridges. The site has two of them. Gauntlet (1983), sold only by mail order, sends an explorer down a forest trail full of arrows and tomahawks, and it is unrelated to the later arcade Gauntlet. Confrontation, programmed by Kim Ellis, is a real-time two-player strategy game that was shown at the 1983 CES but never reached the shops.
Both rare cartridges are below, and you can play them in your browser.
