Developer: Ed Riddle

Ed Riddle programmed Indy 500, one of the nine cartridges available when the Atari 2600 launched in September 1977. He designed it with Carla Meninsky, based on Atari’s Indy 800 arcade cabinet, and it came with its own driving controller. Besides plain races it has a collecting game, a car version of tag and icy tracks. Sears sold it as Race.
