Matthew Hubbard programmed Atari 2600 games at both ends of the console’s life. Submarine Commander, from 1982, was one of only three cartridges sold exclusively by Sears under its Tele-Games label. Much later he wrote Double Dunk, a two-on-two basketball game Atari Corporation released in 1989, with secret play-calling before each possession. Before that, he wrote Dolphin for Activision, which you can also play here.
