Eggomania is an action-packed video game for the Atari 2600 that challenges players to catch eggs dropped by a chicken perched at the top of the screen. The gameplay is reminiscent of Kaboom! and Avalance, which are both arcade games with similar mechanics.
In Eggomania, players control a blue bear at the bottom of the screen, using the paddle controller to move the bear and its hat left and right to catch the falling eggs. The chicken moves back and forth at the top of the screen, continually dropping eggs that must be caught before they hit the ground.
At the end of each round, players have an opportunity to throw the caught eggs back at the chicken to score bonus points. As players advance through the game, the chicken’s egg-dropping speed increases, making the game progressively more challenging.
Eggomania offers two difficulty levels to accommodate players of varying skill. The easier setting provides a larger hat for catching eggs, making it more accessible for beginners. This engaging game tests players’ reflexes and coordination as they attempt to catch as many eggs as possible and achieve high scores.
