Action Force is indeed the European version of G.I. Joe: Cobra Strike. In this adaptation, the story revolves around the Action Force training camp being attacked by a giant Cobra Combat Machine, constructed by the villainous Baron Ironblood. Baron Ironblood was initially the leader of the Red Shadows in the Action Force comic book universe. Later in the series, he changed his name to Cobra Commander and founded the Cobra Organization.
While the gameplay remains the same as in G.I. Joe: Cobra Strike, the European version, Action Force, features a different narrative context that aligns with the European Action Force comic book series. Players still need to protect their training camp from the menacing Cobra Combat Machine while battling against venom and laser beam attacks in single-player, two-player cooperative, and two-player competitive modes.
