Crack’ed, an “Egg-Citing Adventure,” is a target shooting video game developed for the Atari 7800. Although an Atari 2600 version was in development, it was never released. The game’s objective is to protect eggs in five nests from an onslaught of egg-stealing creatures.
Controls in Crack’ed resemble those of light-gun games, but the Atari 7800 version uses the joystick to position the crosshairs and the fire button to shoot. In other versions, the ST mouse is used for aiming and the left mouse button for shooting.
When a creature manages to grab an egg, players can shoot the creature to make it drop the egg. By positioning the crosshairs under the falling egg, players can catch it and place it back in a nest. If at least one egg remains in a nest by the end of the raid, the level is successfully completed.
Crack’ed features five unique, themed levels, providing players with diverse challenges and scenarios to keep the gameplay engaging and entertaining.
