In this game, your objective is to destroy six Core nuclear bases located on the planet’s surface. To do so, you must burrow underground and navigate your way to each of these bases while avoiding patrolling Core Ranger tanks that can destroy you if they get you in their line of fire.
There are two types of tanks you need to watch out for:
- White Sentry tanks: These tanks move only through existing tunnels and will fire at you if there’s clear space between you and them.
- Blue Digger tanks: These tanks can create their own tunnels to chase you down.
Additionally, there is a Sentry tank at the bottom of the screen that slowly moves towards your reserve tanks. If this tank reaches your reserves before you destroy all six bases, you will lose a life. The game ends when you lose all of your lives.
Throughout the game, you can find enemy supplies buried in random areas that will award you bonus points if collected. In later levels, bases may appear one at a time, or there might be no dirt between you and the enemy tanks, leaving them to pursue you from the start.
