Andrew Davie is a programmer from the Atari 2600 homebrew scene. The site has two of his games. Qb is a block-shifting puzzle game he first wrote for the Atari 800 in 1984 and brought to the 2600 in 2001. Boulder Dash is a conversion of First Star Software’s digging game, made with Thomas Jentzsch over almost ten years, with First Star’s approval, and sold by AtariAge.

Qb is a homebrew puzzle-action game for the Atari 2600 by Andrew Davie, released by XYPE in 2001. A small hopping character rearranges blocks on the playing field to copy a pattern, while fruit, eggs and monsters get in the way. This Boulder Dash is a homebrew Atari 2600 conversion of First Star Software’s 1984 computer game, made by Andrew Davie and Thomas Jentzsch and sold by AtariAge. It is not an original 1980s cartridge: the two programmers spent almost ten years on it, with First Star’s approval, and it was released as a limited run of 250 cartridges.
