Developer: Dave Jolly

Dave Jolly was a graphics artist at Atari. He drew the graphics for Obelix (1983), which Suki Lee programmed, with sound by Andrew Fuchs and Jeff Gusman. Based on the Asterix comics, it has you steering Asterix while Obelix drops his menhir on Roman soldiers. Unlike Atari’s earlier Asterix cartridge, it is an original game. It was sold mainly in Europe, and both the PAL and NTSC versions are very rare.
The site runs the NTSC version, which you can play in your browser below.
