Developer: Mark Ackerman

Mark Ackerman was an engineer at General Computer Corporation (GCC). With Glen Parker and Tom Calderwood he programmed the Atari 2600 version of Galaxian, released by Atari in 1983. To show a full row of alien attackers, he found a way to make the graphics chip display eight objects across the screen when it normally allows four, and he was granted a patent for the technique.
