Developer: Mythicon

Mythicon was a small American publisher that released just three Atari 2600 cartridges, all in 1983 and all programmed by Bruce de Graaf. Sorcerer (model number 1001) came first, followed by Fire Fly and Star Fox, and Bill Bryner supplied the sound for the latter two. The three share a simple layout: a practice mode with unlimited lives and no score, two numbered levels for one or two players, and difficulty switches that do nothing.

Sorcerer: ride a flying platform and shoot the creatures sent by evil wizards.
Fire Fly: steer a mechanical insect through screens of strange enemies to rescue the Pixie.
Star Fox: gather energy crystals over the planetoid Beta-7 while drones hunt you. It has no link to Nintendo’s later series.

None of them won many fans at the time, and all three are scarce now, so the emulator is the easiest way to see them. Pick one below and play it in your browser.
