Sorcerer is an arcade action game set in an ancient era dominated by wizards and sorcerers. Evil wizards attempt to conquer the earth by sending waves of creatures to eliminate the good sorcerers. Your objective is to vanquish these various creatures. At the game’s outset, you must jump and catch a flying platform that enables you to soar across the screen. Then, you must face a series of perilous creatures, eliminating them by firing energy charges.
Upon successfully destroying the creatures on the current screen, a treasure appears that can be collected for bonus points before proceeding to the next screen. Occasionally, you’ll encounter clouds emitting lethal lightning bolts, which must be evaded. As you progress, enemy speed increases. The game offers two difficulty levels and a practice mode.
