Developer: Qualtronic Devices

Qualtronic Devices, or QDI, developed Glib, a 1983 word game published by Selchow & Righter, the company behind Scrabble. Adverts offered it in selected stores or by mail from QDI Games in Smithtown, New York, and collector databases credit the programming to Mike and Rich Montana. You build words from seven lettered tiles against a time bar, with letter values and bonus squares that Scrabble players will recognise. It saw very little distribution and is rare today.
