Developer: Sam Comstock

Sam Comstock drew the graphics for Snoopy and the Red Baron, Atari’s 1983 game based on the Peanuts comic strip, programmed by Nick Turner and Richard Dobbis. It was the first Peanuts video game and the only one Atari, Inc. actually released; another, Good Luck, Charlie Brown, was planned but never came out. Snoopy and the Baron can each take eight hits, the Baron’s dropped treats score points, and his skulls and crossbones are best avoided. Four games run from an easy children’s version to expert.
