Publisher: Telesys
Telesys was a small company in Fremont, California, that released six Atari 2600 games under the slogan “Fun in games”. It hoped to grow into a full software house for home computers, but it went out of business during the video game crash of 1983, and its cartridges ended up in bargain bins. The site has all six:
Fast Food (1982): a giant pair of lips gobbles flying burgers and fries. It became the company’s best-known game and won a Certificate of Merit for humour at the Arkie Awards.
Stargunner: Alex Leavens’ Defender-style shooter with smooth scrolling.
Ram It: blast back colour bars closing in from both sides, with a musical note for every hit.
Cosmic Creeps (1982): rescue the Cosmic Kids from a planet falling out of orbit.
Demolition Herby: a demolition-derby twist on Amidar.
Coconuts.
