Release date: 2002

This page lists three cartridges released in 2002: two new homebrews and one game rescued from the early 1980s. Billy Eno’s Warring Worms builds on Atari’s Surround and adds a cannon that blasts holes in walls and trails. Paul Slocum’s Synthcart is not a game at all: it turns the console into a small synthesizer with a drum machine. Pick Up is a game Mark Klein programmed for 20th Century Fox in 1983. It was not released at the time and first reached players as a limited cartridge at the Classic Gaming Expo in 2002. It has an adult theme, although nothing explicit is shown.
