In the game, you play as a messenger tasked with delivering an important message to the Galactic Emperor. However, you encounter a giant ship known as IT, which wants to prevent the message from being delivered. Your mission is to destroy all three power generators of IT to escape.
IT is protected by three shields, labeled A, B, and C, arranged in a column above you, with a fourth shield, D, below you. Touching any of these shields will result in an instant game over. Additionally, IT has guided fireballs that chase your ship, and getting hit by them multiple times can cause you to lose the game. However, your repair crew might be able to undo some of the damage if you can avoid getting hit for a while.
You control your ship using the joystick, with the ability to move left, right, up, or down, and fire torpedoes using the fire button. If you keep the fire button down, you can guide the torpedo left or right or accelerate it, but while doing so, your ship will not move, making you more vulnerable to attacks.
As you damage IT’s generators, shields A, B, and C will have invulnerable sections that move across the shields, making it harder to hit them. If you do not hit the left or right generators for 15 seconds, IT will lower shield C, reducing your maneuvering room, and you will also lose points.
After destroying the left and right generators, the center generator will be visible. Destroying it will win you the game. However, as you hit the center generator, shield D will raise, making it necessary to work as quickly as possible.
You start with six ships at the bottom of the screen, and each time a fireball hits you, you lose a ship. Lose all of them, and the game is over.
The game offers three difficulty levels: easy, normal, and hard, with different rates of fireball firing and shield invulnerability, and the presence or absence of a repair crew. The game provides a challenging and exciting experience for players, requiring them to have good reflexes and quick decision-making skills to succeed.
