Jawbreaker is a Pac-Man clone developed by John Harris for the Atari 8-bit family. However, due to technical constraints, the Atari 2600 version of Jawbreaker is not a Pac-Man clone and differs from the Atari 8-bit game. A rough outline of the 2600 game was employed as the foundation for new computer versions created by programmers other than Harris. These new games were sold under the names Jawbreaker and Jawbreaker II, adding confusion, and did not achieve the same level of success as the original.
