The site also has the NTSC version of Mission 3000 A.D. for American TV sets. It is the same game, so everything below applies to both.

Gameplay
In the manual’s story, you are sent after the hidden starbases of the hostile planet G.T. A game starts with your Thunderhawk and one of the starbases on screen, and you can shoot in eight directions. Wave after wave of coloured starfighters comes out to attack you. A radar chart at the bottom of the screen shows where the remaining starbases are.
The game has six stages, which the manual calls “arrangements”, and each one has six starbases. The bars on both sides of the radar show how fast the starfighters are attacking. Green means normal speed. Blue means fast, with a pulsing sound. Red is an emergency, with a continuous sound. Starbases are grey in stages 1 and 4, yellow in 2 and 5, and orange in 3 and 6. You have six Thunderhawks.
| Target | Reward |
|---|---|
| Starfighter | 100 points |
| Starbase | 500 points |
| All six starbases in a stage | An extra Thunderhawk |
Tips
- Keep checking the radar. Starbases are worth five times as much as fighters, and clearing all six earns a new ship.
- Listen for the warning. When the side bars turn blue or red and the sound starts, the fighters speed up. Stop chasing bases and clear the area around you first.
- Start on the normal setting. Expert makes every starfighter attack faster.
