Miss Piggy’s Wedding

Miss Piggy’s Wedding is an unreleased Atari 2600 prototype from 1983, based on the Muppets. Atari planned it under model number CX-26113, with Gary Shannon as programmer and Dave Joly on graphics, but work stopped in June 1983 and it never reached the shops. What survives is an unfinished two-player chase through a church, with Kermit trying to escape his own wedding. You can play it here in your browser.

Aquaventure

Aquaventure is an unreleased Atari 2600 prototype from 1983, programmed by Gary Shannon, with Tod Frye writing the display kernel. It never appeared in any Atari catalogue or press material, and nobody knew it existed until a copy surfaced at a collectors’ gathering in the late 1990s. Its finder said he had bought it at a flea market in Florida. You can play this lost undersea game here in your browser.
