Steve DeFrisco programmed some of the very last Atari 2600 games. Working at Axlon, a company set up by Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, he wrote two late Atari Corporation releases. Secret Quest (1989) is a science-fiction adventure across eight alien space stations, with graphics by Chris DeFrisco and Bushnell’s name on the box; it is often listed as the last new 2600 game released in the United States. MotoRodeo (1990) is a monster-truck stunt contest scored on jumps and crushed cars.
He also converted the arcade puzzler Klax, released only in Europe in 1990. The site has the PAL cartridge that was sold and the unreleased NTSC build.
