Publisher: Mythicon

Mythicon was a small American publisher that released only three Atari 2600 games, all in 1983 and all programmed by Bruce de Graaf. The site has all three. Sorcerer was its first cartridge: a good sorcerer on a flying platform shoots the creatures of evil wizards. Fire Fly sends a mechanical insect through a row of screens, each with its own enemy, to rescue the Pixie. Star Fox has you collect energy crystals on a planetoid while drones hunt you, and it has nothing to do with Nintendo’s later series.
The three games share a design. Each has a practice mode with unlimited lives, two levels of play and unused difficulty switches, and the Sorcerer and Fire Fly manuals suggest a trackball. All three cartridges are scarce today, which makes them of special interest to collectors. You can play every one of them below in your browser.
