How to play Astrowar online
- Move your shuttle: arrow keys
- Fire the laser: Space bar; hold it down for rapid fire
- Start a new game: F12 (the console’s Reset switch)
Gameplay
Stars that slip past you only cost points, and big ones split in two when hit. Spaceships, bombs and monsters are the real danger: let one through and you lose your shuttle. The game speeds up as your score climbs, and a points multiplier rises with it. The full scoring table, lives and levels are on the Astrowar (Europe) page.
About this version
Astrowar was a budget cartridge sold under several labels, some of them from Taiwan, and its programmer is not known. This NTSC cartridge has a Taiwanese label and no identified publisher. The PAL version was sold in Germany by Goliath in 1983.
