Atari 2600 Extra Terrestrials is an entirely separate game from the Atari 2600 E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
About Atari 2600 Extra Terrestrials: Extra Terrestrials is a two-player game only, thus requiring two joysticks. Remember to always turn the console power switch OFF when inserting or removing the game program to protect the electronic components and prolong the life of your ATARI® Video Computer System.
GETTING STARTED: Extra Terrestrials have landed on our planet! The player using the LEFT CONTROLLER will control the first alien, who is looking for his invisible friend. You may choose from up to four different aliens by pressing the SELECT button on your ATARI®. Once you’ve made your selection, press RESET to start the game.
The player using the RIGHT CONTROLLER will control the Ranger, whose mission is to find and capture the Extra Terrestrials that have landed on our planet.
OBJECT OF THE GAME: The goal for the player using the LEFT CONTROLLER is to locate their invisible friend and eat the candy being dropped in order to increase their score, all while avoiding the Ranger. Successfully finding the invisible friend will trigger a victory song.
The goal for the player using the RIGHT CONTROLLER is to capture the Extra Terrestrials by touching them while moving in four different directions as quickly as possible.
