Gameplay

A little creature has crashed on Earth and needs four missing pieces of its spaceship to get home. You steer it through a series of rooms and press the buttons you find there, hoping one of them makes a ship part appear. Pick the part up and keep searching until all four are found. Guardians roam the rooms and chase you, trying to corner the creature before it can escape.

Versions and history

Very little is documented about this cartridge. Collector databases list Go Go Home Monster as a PAL release for Europe by Home Vision, but no manual or programmer credit has surfaced. The ITT Family Games release, Alien’s Return, is the same game with a different title, and in Germany it was sold as UFI und sein gefƤhrlicher Einsatz. The plot of an alien collecting parts to fly home clearly echoes the E.T. film, which explains the E.T. Go Home name.
