Amiga Corporation is remembered for the Amiga computer, but before that it made accessories and games for the Atari 2600. Its best-known product was the Joyboard, a board you stood on and leaned to steer, wired just like a joystick. Only Mogul Maniac was properly sold with it. Several other projects, some programmed by Jerry Lawson’s company Videosoft, were dropped when Amiga left games to focus on its computer.
The site has five Amiga games, most of them prototypes:
Mogul Maniac (1983): nine slalom courses, where your score is simply your time.
Off Your Rocker: a Simon-style memory game, finished but never officially released.
Surf’s Up: a surfing game made for the Joyboard that never reached stores.
S.A.C. Alert: an air combat game and the most complete Amiga prototype found so far.
Depth Charge: sink ships through a periscope, in the style of Sea Wolf.
