Mr. Postman (EUROPE)

Mr. Postman is a 1983 action game from the Taiwanese company Bit Corporation, and this page has its European PAL cartridge. A mail carrier has to deliver a message to the City of Silence: he climbs a tree, swaps a swinging rope for the back of a hawk, flies through a storm and finally threads his way through narrow city streets. How to play Mr. Postman online

  • Walk and climb: arrow keys
  • Grab the rope, shoot birds and hailstones: Space bar
  • Start a new game: F12 (the consoleā€™s Reset switch)
  • Save and load your progress: Ctrl + 0ā€“9 saves to a slot, Alt + 0ā€“9 loads it

About this version

This is the same game as the American release, built for the 50 Hz PAL televisions used in most of Europe, so it can feel a little slower. Bit Corporationā€™s own PAL cartridge carried the catalogue number PG209, and the game also turned up in Germany as Der Geheimkurier from the mail-order company Quelle.
